Pakistan Welfare Organisation in Australia Inc. (PWOA) is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organisation founded in 2017 by a couple of Pakistani people who laid the stone. PWOA is an organisation that represents Pakistani Immigrants/Students/Visitors abroad or living in Australia.

The Muslim Womens Council of Victoria Inc. (previously known as the Islamic Girls & Womens Group Inc.) is a not-for-profit organisation formed to meet the challenges faced by Muslim women living, working and integrating into the broader community in a way that honours their religious and cultural heritage while simultaneously enriching the broader Australian community.

Established in 1984, the Board of Imams Victoria is the first Imams board in Australia. Founding secretary Sheikh Fehmi Naji Imam (Former Grand Mufti of Australia), Sheikh Rexhep Idrizi, the founder president and three other Imams got together to set up BOIV. Today BOIV has about 27 member Imams and each one of them play a pivotal role in the religious life of every individual Muslim in Victoria. The Muslim community was in dire need to have a formal organisation of Imams to guide it in the face of contemporary challenges at that time. It was the collective vision of our founding fathers that shaped the makeup of BOIV today. BOIV seeks to serve the Muslim community by providing effective leadership and guidance on matters of Islamic faith and Shariah (Islamic way of life). This website is the official gateway to all our services to members of the Muslim community in Victoria and Tasmania.

Banksia Gardens Community Services is a vibrant neighbourhood house and community service organisation located in the heart of Broadmeadows. With a strong commitment to community development and action research principles, our programs focus mainly on early childhood, education and training, young people, environmental sustainability and community participation and advocacy. More than 30 groups and Associations are based at our Centre, which was used by more than 80,000 people in 2016. The 80,000 people who come through the doors each year to attend playgroups, study groups, classes, training courses, workshops, celebrations, meetings and other events are the greatest testament to the difference Banksia Gardens is making to lives in Broadmeadows.

The Muslim Professionals Association (MPA) is an inclusive organisation with a focus on bringing the community together to unite businesses, services and individuals under the one umbrella. We aim to create a community of professionals who will provide mentoring, support and networking opportunities within the Muslim and wider communities. We provide avenues for emerging young professionals to gain mentorship and increase opportunities for personal and professional development. MPA is a not for profit, independent organisation, working in partnership with businesses and community organisations. Our Services: Bring together professionals of the Islamic faith, heritage or background and others with an interest in supporting such professionals. Provide a cohesive professional network to advocate for, and provide support to our members and to benefit from shared learning and experience. Improve the capability and reputation of members through educational events and programs within their respective fields and within the wider network of each members. Mentor and support emerging professionals of the Islamic faith, heritage or background. Create a supportive and inclusive environment for members to ensure a positive network for employment opportunities and resources. Showcasing Muslim contributions to the broader community in a wide range of areas. This displays a vibrant Muslim community with depth and a breadth of experiences.

THE MUSLIM LEGAL NETWORK IS A PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIAN MUSLIM LEGAL PRACTITIONERS AND LAW STUDENTS. The Muslim Legal Network was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate lawyers and law students who saw the need for a body to address the Australian Muslim community's increasing legal needs. We offer networking opportunities, mentoring, community legal education workshops, legal referral services, opportunities to assist in law reform submissions and internship and volunteering opportunities.

Mercy Mission Australia has a team of dedicated team members which research, define, refine and incubate innovative community development projects. Our model has been simply to create tested blueprints for Muslim communities to implement in their localities to improve the circumstance of those around them or those in a high level of need. Since 2007 we have pioneered some ground-breaking projects helping thousands of vulnerable people.

Known as the Cyprus Turkish Islamic Community of Victoria, the organisation has had a history in Richmond, Clifton Hill, and then relocating to Ballarat Road, Sunshine in 1985. Today the Sunshine Mosque represents an achievement and a gift to the wider Australian community by the Turkish Cypriot community. To Muslims it is a place of worship and a meeting place, to non-Muslims it is a gift of Ottoman architecture which can be admired as they pass by the Ring Road to and from the city of Melbourne.

With the motto of “Hand in Hand for the Needy”, Hasene Humanitarian Aid Organisation was founded with the purpose of helping people in need around the world. As a word “hasene” refers to goodness, beauty and good deed and therefore the Hasene Organisation carries out various activities undertaking tasks with the purpose of expanding goodness, beauty, sharing, solidarity and cooperation all around the world. Our organisation’s work is guided by the following words of the prophet Muhammad (saw): “The best among people is the one who benefits people the most.” We help to ease the suffering of the poor around the world. Thanks to the donations from honorary donors and as well as the collaboration of partner organisations, we are able to take action to relieve the suffering and poverty in many parts of the world. Being a means to the collection and conveyance of aid supplies and happiness across four continents, the Hasene Organisation implements its relief works, long-rage and permanent protects with its hundreds of thousands of donors and supporters.

National Zakat Foundation is a ground-breaking initiative which aims to utilise Zakat funds and voluntary donations collected in Australia for the benefit of local, deserving recipients. Our vision is for Islam to flourish in society as a source of prosperity and harmony for all. Our mission is to distribute Zakat transformatively within Australia.

The Halal Food Bank is a Melbourne based philanthropic initiative, which distributes food and household items to needy families, those who require crisis support, and asylum seekers. Himilo Community Connect is a community led project that exists to improve education, employment, health and social cohesion outcomes for the Australian-Somali community of West Heidelberg.
